I finished something...
10 pages of a comic in 2 months.
Result wasn't perfect, but I learned A LOT about penciling and inking traditionally, scanning, photoshopping and digital coloring (mostly grayscale)....

@brian_shearer What I mean by that is, just because they can print your work again and attribute you, is putting your name on the cover of a new book part of that work for hire deal? Just wondering...

@brian_shearer I don't get, despite legalities, that they don't cut a decent cheque for the creative people, even if it was originally work for hire. Esp. for those with the names on their cover.
I do wonder about legalities though. You sold the work for hire, but did you sell your name?

We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sam Kieth.

From The Maxx to his work across comics, Sam brought a completely unique look and voice to the industry. His art was raw and unmistakably his. Sam's influence will be felt for generations.

Unpopular opinion: AKotSK episode 5 was badly edited and the fight scenes were cut way too short. We hardly saw the Kingsguard in action. I think the flashback didn't work at all, at least not the way it was edited. Considering this is the only big fight this season, it was bad..

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the man many years ago on Spiderman and it was a gift. He and his brother John were responsible for my colorful childhood in comics.
We lost a giant here today. Some of my inking over him at the time below , and a photo of the sweet man himself. He will be missed.

@ImageComics A lot of us waited a long time for vol. 3 of Invincible Library edition to be fixed. Sadly you just released a fix of the slipcase box only and not the book itself. Is it so hard to print them with matching spines? I want to buy vol. 3 but not this mess. Please tell us the plans!
