@nyx_erebus @DanielLurie essentially, if the city of SF tries to bar waymo, for any reason, the idiotic state government can fine san francisco. google owns the newsom administration, and unfortunately SF just gets to be the pawn in this.

@nyx_erebus @DanielLurie if you talk to anyone at SFMTA / muni you'll learn that it's been the city's official position for years now to ban waymos entirely, however the glorious newsom administration has legislation in place that makes it so SF cannot do this, nor have any effective oversight over them.

@poliholic @kron4news palo alto high school had their prom night at the exploratorium. apparently they brought the loudest fireworks in the history of mankind with them. if you search instagram and tiktok you can find some kids from the prom posting about it.
