@drunkenwood I swear the guitars I’ve seen and played in the last few years have increasingly gone from dark brown to orange. I’ve read discussions on how to dye sapele darker. I guess when done right it’s fine, but the increasing trend of just leaving everything orange? 😑

@kibblesmith Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited away too. Set-up and pay-off were just poorly done, imo. Beautiful, but super clumsy. Kiki, Nausicaa, Laputa, and Mononoke by comparison are solid storys. (With N and L having the 80’s quirks of spelling out motivations and over-exposition.)
