When I was at FGC Kwali, Abuja, we were taught that every good speech should have three essential parts: an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.

The principle was simple: if your introduction makes a grand claim, the body must substantiate it, and the conclusion must bring the audience to a clearer understanding of your central argument.

In other words, don’t just tell people something is magnificent, show them how and why it is magnificent.

So, whenever you are called upon to speak, present an argument, or address an audience, remember this basic methodology:

Introduce the idea. Develop it. Then conclude it in a way that gives the audience clarity and closure.
