Rumors swirling of an investigation active at Mountaineer involving unauthorized InCompass access.

I've made calls. From what I learned, this situation is not CAW related and doesn't involve betting teams. What's being looked at is a possible situation similar to Linda at NYRA.

Few have written as eloquently and profoundly about the mistreatment of animals as @NickKristof. His latest piece is a must-read. https://t.co/N7kKyPRqBv

Ombudsman, a quite magnificent horse, a beautiful personality, and a wonderful, spine tingling performance to win today’s Champion Stakes at Ascot.

I didn’t think it would take him long to pee and as I was eager to get home for the Villa game I was pleased when he appeared from the testing area for me to get my crossing the road shot.

Thank you Ombudsman.

[Destin Heath @DestinHeath]

@braunswc @racetrackandy @hisa_us The honest way should be the only way.
Honest trainers, honest vets….. I’ll let a jockey slide with a few extra strikes in the heat of the moment…. My recommendation is for @hisa_us to turn the heat up on vets. Hold them accountable, to the same standard as the trainer.

@Brnas05576799 @atTheTrack7 That’s a breeze, a windy move.

@placidhunter The last place a horse evolved to live is alone in a stall.

[Gulf-SchemePark(Decoupling soon) @Jackpotkimm]

@TheNYRA has big problem with these shadow jumping horses. How are they going to fix the problem?

[The Staggie Man @thestaggieman]

$555 Million dollar racetrack (Belmont) didn’t take into account where the shadows would be so horses aren’t jumping at the wire

@tommyhammer @DRFHersh @BreedersCup Does he know Lasix has been banned in stakes races?
He used to bring those Euros over and dope them all.

ANOTHER HORSE just JUMPED the BUILDINGS SHADOW at the new @BelmontPark1905

I’m not sure what can be done about it but I’ll be pointing it out until @TheNYRA atleast notices it

Again I’ll say, It’s a massive accident waiting to happen

[Paulick Report @paulickreport]

An Ontario appeals panel upheld Richard Moreau’s responsibility for a horse’s DPO positive but found that his punishment need not be the same as that of someone who administered the drug.
