I think this is the attitude towards hard work that many of my generation and younger have. Mission, good people and upside (financial you can negotiate but you have to be changing things for the better) are crucial for commitment. This is where Twitter 2.0 fails.
To be clear I love hard work, I do well with chaos, but I like doing it with people I like, for a mission I care about and ideally with significant upside potential (financial or otherwise) to balance downside risk.
Sunnuntaina alkavat jalkapallon MM-kisat.
I have so many questions. How will this scale? How will it taste? But still a very thought-provoking two minutes from @GeorgeMonbiot, and I say that as someone quite wary of tech-solutions. Animal agriculture is ~15% of the climate crisis and needs to end.

12 years ago, Twitter’s office used a Mac Mini to tunnel into the servers. One day, an IT guy found it in the closet.
“Anyone know who owns this?”
“Unplug it. Someone will show up.”
Everyone lost access to servers. Huge crisis. It became known as the “Load Bearing Mac Mini.”
If there was a way for them to redeem Ash not using his past Pokemon, this was it. The most beautiful scene in Pokemon anime history I've ever seen.
This is #Anipoke Heritage right here!
I have just warned global leaders at #COP27:
We are on a highway to climate hell with our foot on the accelerator.
Our planet is fast approaching tipping points that will make climate chaos irreversible.
We need urgent #ClimateAction.
THIS: “Climate models have projected very smooth changes, whereas the real world is suffering rapid regional changes. The rise in globally averaged temperature is a useful metric of how far climate change has got, but it doesn’t bring home the message.” https://t.co/dfrrNL0JuM
Most people I know in the media view this as hysteria. They simply will not face just how serious it is - which means it’s not reported with the adequate conviction or urgency, as if to do so would be a sign of weakness. The media is failing so spectacularly. #ClimateCrisis
Amsterdam airport police running after hundreds of climate activists blocking private jets while on bicycles is objectively funny https://t.co/nhiVnblHGg
For 40 years, nuclear power was expanding exponentially, ushering in a new era of clean & reliable power.
Then in 1989, it hit a wall.
What really happened? … 🧶 …
Unlimited regional public transport across Germany will cost €49/month next year.

@EganRichardson That’s just silly then! As a child I got told off when I finished the math book ahead of time as well, and luckily my parents told me to tell the teacher to sod off. Luckily I got extra stuff to solve and got to play on the classroom Commodore 64. Hope your kid’s school is smart.
@EganRichardson I had a discussion about this with my 9-y-o last weekend, since they have a book club at school. By reading what you’ve agreed with others you can discuss that part but not more (spoiler alert!) in the weekly sessions. I see why book clubs agree on rules. He’s not in trouble.
