So the bigger factor is how often Cook gets a breather, no? Unless . . . Cook & Latimer are in the backfield together (Owen/Steve-esque). so, long lead for a short question - Do you think Rod has a package for both guys to be in the backfield together - perhaps short yardage?

[stan cardwell @lastman20707]

Schuyler, 1st time mailbag post. (thanks for keeping us informed). You mentioned in the Latimer article that you see him getting around 650 yards - justified by historical QB yardage. but the O works off of the QB read and making Ds account for a running QB.

@WVUBaseball Mr. Glasscock, I'm a huge WVU baseball fan and ambled over to the roster to check on some specs and saw JJ's pic. Not that you can or would want to answer in a public forum, but I hope he's doing well and can get back to baseball if that's what he wants. Grace and peace, Stan

@RobayThebOss @WVUBaseball I was thinking that seeing those throwbacks would be traumatic - all those years when Van Zant managed the team into the ground. lol

@CMAnderson247 next trivial pursuit edition - sports - who ruined Texas Tech's Jacob Rodrigues' Heisman Trophy bid?

@CMAnderson247 Huggins coaching football now? "I'll fix it."

@Bradcrossman @kevinmyoung unique. How about we just post the "greatest" - Love (the Lord, your) God and love your neighbor as yourself. Everything else is summed up in these, right? I suspect a lot of folk could live with those reminders. & possibly loving our neighbor means we don't post the ten.

[stan cardwell @lastman20707]

@Bradcrossman @kevinmyoung Jewish scholars gleaned 613 commands from the Torah - the Mitzvot - the basis for ordering their society. in those? commands to care for widows, orphans, & immigrants. Posting 10 while ignoring justice kinda defeats the point of what made Judaism radically.

@big12studios @Big12Conference yea - nothing says good branding like flooding a roman numeral 12 on a league with SIXTEEN teams. 12s on luggage and hoodies and . . . good Lord

[stan cardwell @lastman20707]

@jlippincott wow. I don't think you know what centrist means.

[stan cardwell @lastman20707]

@hudsonclement3 How 2 lose friends & burn bridges. All U shared can be thought. - doesn't need 2 be said - especially on a social media site & especially behind the safety of a screen. defending one's self is always a no-win situation. What you do on the field will speak louder. God speed.

@ByPatForde tell me you're stupid without telling me you're stupid.

@WVUfootball it's time, Wren. six years. not a single signature win - and now NB crying about how difficult his home schedule is? it's time. you couldn't miss the empty stadium. fans have and will vote with their feet.

@UnnecRoughness so in the NFL, there are compensatory draft picks. what system can we use in college so that the U Miamis of the college football world get something back from finding and developing talent for the Alabamas?

[Gary Parrish @GaryParrishCBS]

Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it.

(Shouts to the producer and rest of the desk for staying out of Reggie’s way and just letting him talk. I doubt they expected this answer. But it’s a great few minutes of television.)
