I think one of the hardest pills to swallow is realizing that most of us already know exactly what we need to do to change our lives. We know the habits we need to stop. We know the routines we need to build. We know the work we need to put in. We know the person we need to become. We just can’t seem to stay consistent long enough to actually get there. And that’s the part that hurts the most. Not lack of potential. Not lack of dreams. Just the inability to keep showing up for ourselves consistently.
Your greatest need is to clean out the enormous mass of mental and emotional rubbish that clutters your mind. You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life, work on controlling your mind. In most cases, that’s the only thing you should be trying to control.
I normalized posting late. Nobody needs to know where I am, where I live, where I work, or who I’m with. My goals and plans stay private. Love keeping them guessing.
Day 165 of 365
God is saying to you today,
"I am watching over you more closely than you realize. You are not exposed or alone in the world.
My word in Psalm 121:5 says, 'The Lord watches over you. The Lord is your shade at your right hand.' I am present in your ordinary moments. I am protecting you in ways you cannot see. Walk today with peace, not fear."
Day 164 of 365
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you won't be burned, and flame won't scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
If your peace depends on everything going right, that’s not peace, that’s control. It means your sense of stability is tied to circumstances that were never fully yours to manage. As long as life unfolds according to your expectations, you feel calm. But the moment uncertainty appears, that calmness begins to disappear. True peace is not the absence of chaos, challenges, or unanswered questions. It is the ability to remain grounded even when life refuses to follow your plans. Real growth happens when you stop demanding certainty from an uncertain world. It comes from learning to trust yourself more than you trust outcomes. When you develop that inner stillness, setbacks no longer have the power to completely shake you. You begin to understand that resilience is not controlling what happens, but adapting to what does. And that is real peace, the confidence that no matter what unfolds, you will find your way through it.
Dear Lord,
Today, I walk into what’s next with the kind of faith that doesn’t flinch. Let what shaped me show up in how I lead, decide, and respond. Let every challenge reveal brilliance, not wreck me. Let what You spoke guide my choices, and let what’s in me shift the outcome. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏾
Day 163 of 365
God is saying to you today,
"I see the hidden pain you carry. I see the disappointment and the quiet tears. My word in Psalm 34:18 says, 'The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. You are not too much for Me.
Bring your hurt to Me today without shame. I will comfort you and help you heal."
Dear Lord,
Today, help me stop waiting on perfect strength before I move. You told Gideon to go with what he had, so don’t let me insult the strength You gave me for this moment. Get shame off my back. Get regret out of my face. Give me the kind of joy that makes people wonder how I’m still smiling. And when doubt pulls up trying to ruin the day, make faith answer the door. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏾
Lord, allow Your favor rest on everything my hands touch today. Let what was designed to limit me collapse under the weight of Your purpose. Make my obedience a weapon — sharp, steady, and disruptive to every plan that expected my surrender. Strengthen my grind until it rattles the confidence of those who misjudged me. Let my consistency testify louder than any accusation. Position me as a breaker of cycles, a crosser of boundaries, and a changer of atmospheres. When I enter a room, let evidence of Your presence enter with me. Amen 🙏
