TAE NATION STATEMENT REGARDING THE IRRESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF @/jmpopbase
Enough is enough.
A fanbase does not get a free pass to spread serious accusations without doing the most basic fact-checking first. With a platform that reaches thousands or millions, comes an even greater responsibility to verify information before putting an artist’s name at the center of a narrative.
This entire situation was avoidable. The footage and timeline should have been reviewed before the accusation was amplified. Instead, an unverified claim was pushed, TH was unnecessarily dragged into the issue, and concerns over the accuracy of the narrative were reportedly dismissed rather than properly addressed.
That is not responsible fandom. That is reckless amplification.
Having influence means being accountable for what you put into the public space. You cannot make serious claims first and hide behind your platform when those claims are challenged. If you are wrong, own it. Correct it. Apologize.
Tae Nation will not stand by while TH is used as a convenient scapegoat for a narrative that the available evidence does not support.
We will not tolerate irresponsible accusations being normalized simply because they come from a fanbase.
Check the facts before you speak.
Correct the record when you are wrong.
Take responsibility for what you amplify.
TH is not your scapegoat. And Tae Nation will not allow this to happen again.
