Her name is Chhaya Sharma.

In December 2012, a young woman was gang raped on a moving bus in Delhi and left to die. The whole country knew her story. Almost nobody knows the name of the woman who hunted down the men who did it.

She was a police officer, then Deputy Commissioner of Police in south Delhi.

When the case landed, the pressure was unlike anything the force had seen. Crowds filled the streets. Cameras waited outside her office. Every hour without an arrest was another headline calling the police useless.

She did not let any of it touch her team. She stood between them and the noise, and told them to do the work properly.

For six days her team chased the accused across five states. She kept her people focused on one thing, evidence.

Every detail documented, every forensic sample handled correctly, nothing rushed, nothing sloppy, because a case this big could collapse on a single mistake.

All of the accused were caught within days.

Then came the part that mattered even more. Her team filed the chargesheet in just eighteen days. It was built so carefully that it survived every level of the courts, all the way up to the Supreme Court, and ended in conviction with the maximum punishment.

The rest of her career has been quieter and just as hard. She has spent years going after human traffickers, and has led operations that pulled children out of the hands of people who were selling them.

In 2019, an international award for courage was given to her in America, an honour once given to Malala Yousafzai.

The nation cried for the victim, and rightly so. But justice did not arrive on its own. A woman in uniform went out and dragged it back, and then went quietly on to the next case.

ThePrint lists 21 accused and alleged associates in this case. Yet some people on Twitter are busy putting a 13-year-old girl on trial.

You are not "asking questions." You are defending rapists and calling a child a liar to do it.

"She looked fine" is not evidence of consent or fabrication. It's the oldest script in the book to protect the accused.

Demand a fair, evidence-based investigation, but stop character-assassinating a minor to defend accused adults.

जहानाबाद रेप पीड़िता के मामले में भी बड़े लोग फंस रहे थे जिस कारण मामला दबा दिया गया।

भरत तिवारी का फर्जी एनकाउंटर कराने वाली सम्राट चौधरी की सरकार एक और युवा क्रांतिकारी बंटी का हत्या करा दिया।

ये जानते हुए कि इस राज्य में जितने भी देह व्यापार के अड्डे चल रहे हैं, उनमें से 50 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा जगहों पर सत्ताधारी नेताओं का प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष संरक्षण है, तब भी बंटी यादव ने मर्द की तरह खुलकर विरोध किया। बंटी यादव ये समझ पाता कि इस मरे हुए राज्य में अगर कोई आम नागरिक नेक काम करने जाता है तो उसका हाल क्या होता है। इस राज्य में जिसके हॉस्टल में देह व्यापार चलाया जाता है जब वह जेल जाता है तो उसे सम्मान सहित बाहर निकाला जाता है।

बंटी यादव के परिवार को जल्द से जल्द न्याय मिले और सभी आरोपियों को फांसी की सजा मिलें।

पटना में धड़ल्ले से देह व्यापार का काम चल रहा है। मुंबई और दिल्ली जैसे शहर भी इस मामले में हमारे पटना से पीछे हैं। पटना कई कदम आगे निकल चुका है।

बंटी यादव ने माफियाओं से लोहा लेते हुए सेक्स रैकेट का पर्दाफाश किया। समाज में फैली इस प्रथा का विरोध किया, पुलिस को आगाह किया और सरकार को आइना दिखाया।

बंटी यादव को इनाम में अपहरण कर हत्या कर दी गई। 5 दिन बाद आज उनके परिजनों ने उनका शव बरामद किया।

बंटी यादव जुझारू थे, समाजसेवी थे, शेरदिल और जिंदादिल इंसान थे। मानो कलयुग के भगत सिंह हों।

सम्राट चौधरी के गुंडा राज में पुलिस उन्हें न सुरक्षा दे पाई, न जिंदा बचा पाई। अब मरने के बाद भी शायद उन्हें इंसाफ नहीं मिलेगा, क्योंकि उनके नाम के पीछे "यादव" लगा था।

सेक्स रैकेट चलाना कोई छोटा-मोटा काम नहीं है। इसके पीछे बड़े-बड़े पुलिस अधिकारियों और सत्ता में बैठे लोगों का सहयोग होता है। बंटी यादव इन सबसे अकेले लड़ने निकले थे, और उसका खामियाजा उन्हें भुगतना पड़ा।

बंटी यादव तो इस दुनिया से चले गए, लेकिन हम जिंदा लोग, जो मुर्दों के समान हैं, हमारे मुंह पर करारा तमाचा मार गए कि हम जिंदा होकर भी कुछ नहीं कर पा रहे हैं।

सम्राट चौधरी को शर्म नहीं आती। क्योंकि बिहार के लोग भी शायद यही चाहते हैं। बिहार के लोगों ने ऐसे ही मूर्ख नेताओं को कुर्सी पर बैठाया है। उनकी आंखों के सामने बहन-बेटियों की अस्मिता नोची जा रही है, और जो इसके खिलाफ लड़ रहे हैं, जो अन्याय के खिलाफ बोल रहे हैं, उन्हें मारकर फेंक दिया जा रहा है।

खैर, मेरा क्या। मैं जब तक जिंदा हूं, आवाज उठाता रहूंगा। जिस दिन सम्राट चौधरी के आतंकी राज का कोई गुंडा मुझे भी मार देगा, उस दिन मैं भी शांत हो जाऊंगा।💔🙏😢

बंटी यादव पटना के समाजसेवी थे। उनके दिल में भी क्रांति की आग ज़िंदा थी। पटना में धड़ल्ले से चल रहे सेक्स रैकेट का विरोध किया, उसका पर्दाफाश किया, कानून को आइना दिखाया और सरकार से सवाल पूछे।

सेक्स रैकेट चलाने वाले गुंडों ने उनका अपहरण किया, मार कर फेंक दिया पाँच दिन बाद उनका शव परिजनों को मिला। पुलिस उन्हें ज़िंदा नहीं बचा पाई। यहाँ तक कि आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार भी नहीं कर पाई।

क्योंकि यह क्रांतिकारी थे, और क्रांति का मतलब ही मौत है।

क्रांति आपकी कुर्बानी मांगती है। यह कुर्बानी आपके करियर से हो सकती है, आपकी जवानी से हो सकती है, आपके परिवार को मुसीबत में डालकर भी हो सकती है।

बिहार में या तो आप रहना छोड़ दीजिए, या इस क्रांति की आग को हमेशा के लिए ठंडा कर दीजिए। वरना ऐसे ही मारे जाओगे। आपके मरने पर किसी को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता।
