From rough edges to refined surfaces. The second stage of creation begins: sanding the polyurethane, smoothing the path toward its latent form. Each motion brings the piece closer to life—one of 666 steps in an artistic journey #Latency#ArtProcess#NFTArt
All eyes are on the work—but the art itself remains hidden. A black sphere rests upon it, concealing its form. Yet, it’s already in latency, waiting for its moment to emerge. The process has begun.

Cutting through layers of latency. The form already exists within the polyurethane, waiting to be revealed through the hands of the artist, shaping its latent essence. What lies beneath?

Inside the walls of the Brazilian Art Museum, Dee reveals the concept of Latency. Where art meets time, silence, and space—it's a story unfolding, a pause that speaks to what lies unseen.

The Latency exhibition echoes still linger.
In the shadows of what was shown, there's more waiting to emerge. What you see is only the beginning of something bigger. What's coming next?
Watch closely - this is Latency

At the Museu de Arte Brasileira, whispers of Latency took form. A collection unveiled, yet not fully revealed. Among them, a piece that holds the key to what's coming next. Something beyond the tangible awaits.

The communion between wood and polyurethane creates a profound dialogue between the organic and synthetic, the natural and artificial. This contrast suggests duality: the eternal and ephemeral, earthly and divine, nature’s power and human intervention.

(N)one hundred hearts, a title that plays with the double meaning of "a hundred" and "without." How can a hundred be an absence? Displayed side by side, these hearts seem almost mass-produced, yet each is crafted with care, challenging the viewer with their commodification.

Dee Lazzerini's "Goddess Daphne" captures the myth of Daphne's transformation into a laurel tree to escape Apollo. Using polyurethane, wood, and pins, the piece embodies the delicate yet resilient nature of metamorphosis.

On the Clothesline, the armor is also the weapon. The subject wearing this armor doesn’t get hurt, but it wounds the one who observes and attempts to touch it. A protective-aggressive layer, skin over skin, whose main function is to protect the body.

Leenaean Hydra was a serpent-like water monster with multiple heads. When one head was cut off, two more would grow back in its place. One of them was immortal and could not be killed by conventional means.

The organic bodies are a representation of the artist’s nanobiological studies - a recent memory of his master’s and doctoral research in biomaterials engineering. His interest lies in spatiality: near and far, above and below, celestial and cellular.

A temporary organ that forms in pregnant mammals and is essential for sustaining fetal life. The works in this series, Placenta, invite a tender gaze, as if witnessing a birth. Each piece is both body and seed, fetus and envelope, nucleus and home.

The pieces, gold-plated and all the height of a pin, are laminated versions of the pin itself. In artistic partnership with animator Bruno Mazzilli, we observe the conception of the Dissecar collection's expansion. In an enlarged size, Dee elevates the pin to the viewer's eye.
Deconstructing a pin is what the artist proposes in Dissect. A straight line, a circle, and infinite possibilities of composition. Twisting, bending, and expanding are actions the material undergoes without losing its essence.
