For twelve years, a woman had suffered from bleeding. She had visited many doctors and spent all she had, but her condition only grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she believed that even touching His clothes would make her well.

Jesus was surrounded by a large crowd, but the woman pressed through and touched His cloak. Immediately, her bleeding stopped and she knew she had been healed.

Jesus turned and asked who had touched Him. The woman came forward in fear and trembling and told Him the whole truth. Instead of rebuking her, Jesus spoke to her with tenderness, calling her “Daughter” and telling her that her faith had healed her. He sent her away in peace.

Mark 5:34

"He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'"

For twelve long years, this woman carried a struggle that others may never have fully understood. Yet, when she heard about Jesus, she took a step of faith and reached out to Him. This reminds us that our struggles do not make us invisible to God. Even when we have exhausted our own efforts, we can still bring our pain and needs to Jesus.

Notice how Jesus treated her. He didn't simply allow her to leave quietly after being healed. He stopped and spoke to her with compassion. He acknowledged her faith and gave her peace.

Whatever you have been carrying, don't be afraid to bring it to Jesus. He sees more than your struggle, knows more than your circumstances & welcomes you with a love that restores both the heart and the soul..
