This is Phila Ndwandwe. In 1985, Phila was 🇿🇦 recruited into the ANC. She became an MK fighter. 3 years later, she was abducted in Swaziland by Apartheid police. She suffered unspeakable horror and was torturęd, in an effort to turn her into an informer. One always gets the sense that the fight against Apartheid was a masculine one. To a certain extent we can not fault people for thinking that it is only men, through the sacrifice of their bodies who liberated this country, because somehow history chooses to ignore the women who fought alongside glorified men.

Her family was made to believe that she had eloped to Tanzania when the shaIIow grave of their child was a mere 10 kilometers from where they lived. Her d.eath and grave came to be known when her k.iller asked for amnesty for her brutal m.urder. Her k.illers testified before the TRC that she was repeatedly b.eaten and kept naked for 10 days until she made herself a pair of panties using a plastic bag. When they realized they weren't going to get the Commander to b.etray her comrades, her k.illers blindfolded her, took her to a veld and shot her in the s.kull. let's celebrate Phila. Her selfless dedication to the emancipation of our people should not be undermined. It should not be forgotten! One can only hope that her targeted body is dancing free and light. This is Phila Ndwandwe- the woman who refused to betray her comrades.

This is thirty-one-year-old Jenifer “Niffer” Jovin, a Tanzanian businesswoman who has been arrested and charged with TREASON; a crime punishable by death in Tanzania.
Her alleged offence? Taking part in this viral video “Nywinywi” Challenge. She was charged with treason for this specific video.

The Tanzanian regime accuses her of two counts of treason, conspiracy to damage infrastructure, and incitement during the general election — all stemming from this harmless online challenge.
That is how absurd and repressive Madam Dictator’s Tanzania has become, a complete laughing stock before the world.

The challenge uses the Swahili phrase “Hakutakuwa na nywinywi, nywinywi wala nywenywinyi”, which is loosely translated as “no more excuses” or “we are done being fooled”.

Jenifer “Niffer” Jovin was tortured while in police custody in Tanzania. Her lawyer stated in court that she was physically assaulted by police officers, and forced to sign a statement.

The lawyer also said that on 5 November, 21 of her co-accused had visible injuries, some still limping or bearing gunshot wounds. That is how shameless Madam Dictator’s regime has become, a bloody stain on Tanzania’s reputation.

Drinking Coca-Cola is a total disaster for anyone. Just one small can has six teaspoons of sugar, and the small cup you get at the cinema has twelve packets of sugar. The medium size has twenty-three packets of sugar.
It is a complete disaster that causes obesity, diabetes, tooth decay, and a range of other health problems linked to excessive sugar consumption, including strokes.

The fact that a single can contains around six teaspoons of sugar and a small cinema-sized cup has twelve is shocking. It shows how normalised unhealthy consumption has become. People are literally drinking disease in a cup and calling it refreshment.

The large cinema cup contains forty-four packets of sugar, a real disaster that is pushing people towards diabetes. I remember watching a Jeremy Paxman Newsnight interview where the President of Coca-Cola Europe, James Quincey, admitted that they were effectively selling a quick route to disease.
