Buku thn 1860-an dgn premis hollow earth, & sampai skrg masih dianggap sbg classic sci-fi novel krn walopun premis-nya pseudoscience tapi banyak penjelasan ilmiah yg dipake untuk justifikasi premis ceritanya.

@riopalee @jokoanwar masuk2 aja sih selama ada penjelasan ilmiah/teknologi-nya. Cuma lebih ke soft sci-fi bukan hard sci-fi spt The Martian. Misalkan penghuni hollow earth ini punya teknologi yg membuat mereka bisa bertahan hidup dan tidak terdeteksi, dan dijabarin sedikit spt apa teknologi-nya.

@popdramatic basically the main character keeps saying things in line of "I'm so amazing" and given the context (can't say more because of spoiler), it makes sense for him to say something like that. I just found it annoying because I felt that the main character was just so full of himself😅

@popdramatic I think it depends. I read more third-person narratives and I esp love multi-POVs written in third person. I've enjoyed some books with first person narrative, but depends on how they're written. e.g. I started Red Rising few months ago, and I found it narratively annoying

@shopoww @NicCurcio Basically what they're doing? They already met the contract deals put out by SAG (including paying their actors to the standards asked by SAG). The ones that the big studios refused to agree on.

It's almost like opting to be blacklisted in the industry for future projects. And looks like The Chosen did ask for an exemption for the actors since they're independent. Hope that works out

SAG membership increases visibility and opportunities for actors, granting eligibility to audition for SAG productions, leading to prominent roles and higher pay.
