What you're seeing in Portland today is nothing new. It started in 2016 when the police, courts, and DA's began rewarding mobs for violence. Before Andy Ngo, before Katie Daviscourt, before Nick Sorter. I lived it. This was me: https://t.co/WXbBpYsnOS
Trump had his chance, and he was doing fairly well for the first year. Then he decided to get into a dick measuring contest with Iran and serve Israel. It's been downhill since then.
The DOJ has effectively turned into Barr V. 2, giving lots of fiery speeches but not doing jack diddly to go after the terrorists.
@AVGirl4Life We can only hope they run this ticket. Can you imagine AOC giving speeches on national TV every night? JD and Ivanka wouldn't have to launch a single ad or do a single campaign stop.
Here's one of the most egregious examples: Our *good friend* Amanda Trujillo bailed out a guy who was facing multiple domestic violence charges against his ex, and Multnomah deputy DA Mackenzie Ludwig didn't bother trying to increase his bail. The perp, Mohamad Osman Adan, then murdered his ex girlfriend. Ludwig and Trujillo should be sentenced to serving time with Adan in his prison cell for their complicity. https://t.co/3Mmw2a9zcO
But the people in charge of "preventing crime" are the very ones rewarded for encouraging more crime. If crime rates dropped in half overnight, half of them would be out of work. It's in their best interest to ensure as many criminals as possible are out on the street victimizing more citizens.
These sorts of things happen multiple times on a weekly basis. It's almost as if the legal industry relies on having as many repeat violent criminals as possible out on the streets committing more crimes, in order to run them through the revolving doors, with each case netting more and more money for all the judges, DA's, defense attorneys, police, jail deputies, and the countless administrative paper shufflers.
If crime rates dropped in half, half of them would be out of work. Thus, they are incentivized to not prevent crime. Those who are victimized are just viewed as acceptable collateral damage.
I wonder what the victim would say if she knew that Multnomah County deputy DA's Emily Korte, Craig Nichols, William Smith, Nikki Thompson, Courtenay Hall, Hana Arch, and Wilson Carpenter all routinely dismissed charges on Antony Alfred on a slew of cases in recent years, learning that he does not have to pay for his crimes, and giving him ample opportunity to commit sexual assault, while knowing full well he was a danger to the community. @LarsLarsonShow@VictoriaTaft@THEGUYERSHOW@Honeybadgermom@KatieDaviscourt
@THEGUYERSHOW@Honeybadgermom@PortlandPolice There are multiple regular "customers" who are arrested and hauled back in every week for committing a new series of crimes after being let off easy time and time again over the course of several years.
@Honeybadgermom@PortlandPolice You could write this story 2 or 3 times a week, as there are several repeat offenders who are re-arrested on a regular basis for new charges.
I do not know anything else about this specific case other than what I found in a 5 minute search.
The people who rant about Trump banning books and say flying transgender flags in Kindergarten classrooms is free speech are now banning books and saying free speech doesn't apply to classrooms.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the firing of education specialist Roderick Theis from La Grande Middle School @IMESDtweets in Oregon because he had children's books expressing sex-based biological views, including @MattWalshBlog's "Johnny the Walrus."
In the 2-1 decision, the judges ruled that Theis was not protected by the First Amendment in having those books in the classroom.
One of his colleagues appeared to set him up by recording students reading the books on their own time and presenting that as evidence of violating the rules.
Under Oregon law, the "Every Student Belongs" policy bans biological-based views on sex and mandates affirmation of gender identity.
@MrAndyNgo@IMESDtweets@MattWalshBlog The people who rant about Trump wanting ban books and say flying transgender flags in Kindergarten classrooms is free speech are now banning books and saying free speech doesn't apply to classrooms.
@chali1690@EndWokeness Well, the congresspersonsofnonspecificgender don't want to be white supremacists, so they can't be polite, so they have to get at one another with impolite GOTCHAS so they aren't adhering to whiteness.
@RandPaul I'm sure whoever this months acting interim pretend AG will give several interviews and speeches vowing to investigate and prosecute, while actually doing nothing about it.
Local DA's still have jurisdiction, assuming these incidents aren't taking place on federal property. Local police and DA's can still investigate, charge, and hold grand juries for indictments. How can a congresspersonofnonspecificgender not know this? Are you feigning ignorance or are you actually this ignorant?
Oregon law prohibits police from providing any information to ICE and prohibits police and other government agencies from asking about someone's legal status.
That's right, the police get fired if they try to enforce the law. Yet for some reason these police officers happily sign up to do the bidding of the politicians who enact these and other laws that intentionally result in more dangerous and violent criminals flooding the streets.
Just remember, it's only those *OTHER* countries where they rig elections and manipulate the voting process. It could never happen here though. We can *TRUST* the ruling class that runs the election machines here. They would never do anything to betray us. It's just those *OTHER* elections officials in those other countries that we can't trust.
@LarsLarsonShow It's their network, they can decide what they want to show or not. I doubt you'd want KXL to be forced to air every Obama or Biden speech.
