Laughton 1s (170-3) beat Firle (164) at home today. Captain Jamo bagged 5-30 thanks to fine fielding placement, before Andy Jenks (50) and Charlie Weller (73) paved the way for Laughton's fine seven-wicket win. The 2s lost out away to Chiddingly by six wickets.

Superb win on the road for Laughton in the Sussex Slam on Wednesday, beating Glynde. Captain Jamie Russell with an unbeaten 45 and taking three wickets. Cody Morton and Theo Light then shone with the ball late on to hand us victory by 19 runs.

There was a superb 116* from captain Jamie Russell in our 183-6 but ultimately it was defeat by six wickets. Onwards.

Great result for the 1s v Firle yesterday. Firle 100 all out, Laughton winning for loss of two in 20.1 overs. Lee Gillman the stand out with superb 5-19.
