Ok here is the post mortem on things that went right, and things that went wrong with @launchboy69.
What went right:
> No snipers.
>Distribution was good.
>Multipliers worked.
>Gated TG worked.
(It was mostly just people paying to join to call me slurs, but hey. it worked.)
What went wrong:
>Website crashed on deposits.
>Not enough DDoS protection.
>Refunds were a bit slow.
>Too many winners large winners ( lucky bros) had to refund and handle them.
>Liq was too thick.
>Taxes were too high. Market making was hard because of the taxes at launch + the thic liq.
So we ended up with a coin with more liq than market cap, and people yelling rug, even though that's technically the opposite. (rug is when you pull liq or dump all the supply into the pull-same thing-, we added too much)
So fixes:
1. Upgraded all infra and DDoS protection and servers. Will be doing a RANGE of time for launch not a specific time to avoid people spamming.
2.Refund speed is 100x faster now, once it caps, over fill can be sent back right away.
3. New OTC mode, allowing for big winners to get bought out "OTC" at a discount right away so they get sol instantly and dont have to deal with launch price action, and other pre sellers, can remove sell pressure prior to launch. (see picture)
4. Liquidity added over time. liq starts thin, then is added over a few days so the price action is more volatile at the start, and then as the coin ideally matures more and more liq comes into it.
5. No Anti-sniper tax. Its probs over kill since its a pre sale and there aren't many snipers anyways. This should help volume, and allow people to buy and sell right away so there isnt just one rush to exit or enter.
Launch so far so good, launched around 100k MC, hit 400k MC, most whales dumped around there.
Pre sellers made a rough 4x, even the losers, break down in the picture.
and this is all while anti-sniper taxes were very high.
Not try to "post about price", but I am posting it since I try to be as transparent as possible and price does matter, and it seems people like the gamble curve idea!
First launch on @launchboy69 is happening in like 5 min.
CA is:
BoY2UJq7VJmyYzgszK9bzo6MFqQB4u5NEMhRupiDwJp4
Pool will be live in aprox 3 min, on met, it has a high initial fee, be careful. Its an experiment, so please read warnings.
Let the games begin'!
OK almost launch time ! Whale chat TG unlocks also at launch so you guys can plot.
And only 200 people max allowed in. We might make it more tight as we work on things but just as an idea this is how it will roll out.
Ok Quick Rundown of the new launcher, we are going live with a surprise guest today:
1. Its a GambleCurve. It is fair. Some lose. Some win. Some break even.
Each gambling deposit gets its multiplier in a fair, deterministic, and verifiable way.
When you deposit, the result is generated from a future blockhash tied to the transaction itself. That means nobody can know or choose the outcome ahead of time.
The multiplier distribution is also fair: it follows a curve centered around 1x, with the median result at 1x. Most deposits land near the middle, while higher and lower multipliers become increasingly rare.
2. The "losses" go into a pot, this is 50% going to the creator, so he can do what he wants, and 50% for market making/LP.
3. There is a public deposit CA, you can send sol to it directly without worrying about interacting with our site if you want. But you wont see your multipliers. But this way you dont have to like connect.
4. If the pre sale does not fill, EVERYONE gets refunded, even the losers. minus some gas.
5. Tokenomics, the entire raise goes to the @MeteoraAG LP so there is size for people to ape, 50% of the tokens are given to pre sellers, and 50% are put in the LP, so this is about as fair as it gets.
My team makes money on the LP fees, creator makes money on unlucky depositors.
So everyone is tied together. We want volume/hype, Creator wants hype, and depositors want hype.
