AI UGC is a divisive topic in the UGC community. Many people hate it.

We are fully embracing it at @launchpoint .

We are partnering with @higgsfield on a $1M prize pool for creators to create converting AI content for brands.

The future will have much more AI content. Human and AI content will live side by side.

The future is (almost) here.

[Launchpoint @launchpoint]

@Tristanrhee3 @higgsfield Let's keep building 🫡

[Tristan Rhee @Tristanrhee3]

Shoutout to the @higgsfield team on their incredible execution 🫡

Speed of distribution is the new moat.

At @launchpoint, we are grateful to support to the fastest growing company in history 🙏

Using both Sideshift and Launchpoint right now for UGC.

Will say prefer Launchpoint presently.

But right now, either way still figuring winning format, so bigger friction is that than specific platform haha.

Everyone is hyping up AI UGC for content generation, but making the clips is only a fraction of what's needed.

Real enterprise-grade UGC deals with the actual problem: everything else. Sourcing, compliance, and payouts gets exponentially harder past a few dozen creators.

This is why C4 Energy runs their entire creator pipeline on Launchpoint. Businesses need real infrastructure to scale.

when people ask how I'm liking @launchpoint i just talk about our team

this week, the engineers spent hours talking with everyone to make sure we understood our new fraud detection tech. it's dope to work somewhere where everyone wants to build the best creator marketplace.

Breaking:

@Launchpoint used UGC to sell out C4

Is this the future? Or is this just a trend?

[Tristan Rhee @Tristanrhee3]

hot take:

most founders fail because they ignore their passion and burn out

[Tristan Rhee @Tristanrhee3]

I am the lowest paid person at @launchpoint.

I make minimum wage.

When we opened our Midtown NYC office, I set my salary at 35K per year. For the time I work, that's about $8.75 per hour.

My salary is tied to real revenue milestones, teammates get paid first, and the rule we live by is simple: don't die.

This is why we do it:

1.𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭
Every dollar not paid to me buys time, hires, and product. Survival is oxygen, and oxygen is what lets you find fit.

2.𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫
High founder salaries reduce urgency and blur priorities. Keeping mine low keeps pressure on shipping and delivering actual value to customers.

3.𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐞
The classic Y Combinator advice: if you still have the motivation and the energy to build, it is a tragedy to shut down because the burn got ahead of the work.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐘𝐂:
- I cook all of my food at home.
- I live with a roommate.
- I don't go out.
- I stay in on the weekends to work.

It is not glamorous, but it keeps burn low enough to hire one or two more great people and move faster than we could have with founder-sized paychecks.
