Calling all Head Teachers or Deputy Heads that may deal with job applications would you employ an NQT as a TA?? There are lots of TA jobs locally to me and no Teaching jobs and im getting itchy feet😢@HTMISTERK can you advise?

Appealling to all teachers! Having qualified in July with no job to go to i signed up with supply agencies, i know ita only 2 weeks in but im getting itchy feet being in the house, theres TA jobs being advertised locally do i apply???

@MissPriya_NQT Nope they dont see that do they and thats my arguement everytime i go! If i could be teaching i would but thats not good enough!! And they also dont understand im only primary trained

@missk_primary Try and enjoy the peace as im sure before long we will be longing for the break and wearing pjs all day infront of netflix! I was lucky enough to get 3 day work last week all being as TA but it was good to be out the house

These 2 r the reason; ive spent the last 6 years training to be a teacher, i get up every morning, i set my self endless goals, i loose the plot shoutinf and screaming and the reason i drink too much booze but i love them

@KKNTeachLearn It might be cruel but sometimes when ive had a particularly bad day with my kids i ask them how it is i dont have to speak to a full class of kids as many times as i have them in a day
