🚨 New paper alert

Excited to share my latest publication: The Paramo Fire Atlas, a high-resolution, 37-year burned area dataset for a unique high-elevation ecosystem in the northern Andes, crucial for water regulation, biodiversity and carbon storage
Let’s break it down ⬇️

We also tested our atlas against:
✅ PlanetScope imagery (3m)
✅ VIIRS thermal anomalies
➡️ The results show low commission error and explainable omission rates—making this the most detailed and reliable fire dataset for the páramo to date.
