Just finished a shift In A&E.

It was lovely. Appropriately staffed so we could cope with surges but meaning staff were well rested.

Few patients attended as they were able to access the well resourced community services and so didn't need to come in for non emergencies.

Those that did attend went swiftly to the correct ward as there was the bed capacity needed to allow efficiency working.

The junior drs I supervised have left feeling respected and well remunerated

It's not just me seeing this, but colleagues up and down the country.

This morning of all days has made me realise how lucky I am to be working in a Tory run NHS.
