Last week was a BIG one for Minneapolis hotels! The city hosted over 200,000 visitors at events including the American Physical Society March Meeting and the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament and hotel occupancy reached 82.9% (highest weekly occupancy since October 2019!

Great work from the @cityofnola Hazard Mitigation Office, who continues to secure resources to adapt #NOLA properties threatened by climate change & more frequent flooding.
The @cityofnola was awarded $11.6M from @fema to elevate 49 pre-identified homes that have experienced repeated & severe flooding. They'll join the 200+ structures that've received elevation funding since 2017 in our efforts to reduce the risk of damage from future flood events.
