He crossed the line alongside Jack Scott who takes 2nd place having put in a performance that in almost any other year would have secured his own victory.

Absolutely in awe of everyone doing @TheSpineRace this week. Running the length of the Pennine Way in these conditions - absolutely amazing. Makes me feel a tiny bit better about my 32 mile ultra coming up, inspiring stuff!

Claire Bannwarth has an almighty lead over the 2nd and 3rd women.
She is currently in 5th overall in the standings.
A hugely prolific ultra athlete, she is showing all her skills in this race.
