Career update:
I’m proudly not going anywhere.
I am so excited to announce that I got a promotion, and a new political show.
California Politics 360 officially launches this Sunday, 9/7.
Thank you @kcranews and @HearstTV for believing in me, and making my dream come true.
Immense pride to celebrate my forever students from my broadcast classes receiving award nominations to the @RockyMtnEmmy An honor to have played a role in their journey. A top priority for me was to be able to teach you the skills needed to get you here 🥹You inspire me!
I have never been more thankful to have been taught proper email etiquette💆🏽♀️
Like math, I think one of the most overlooked skills that a journalist has to have is being well-versed in how to write a proper email.
Things are truly accomplished faster when there is a clear ask.
A mere few hours after @CNN announced it will be cutting 100 jobs on Wednesday, the company hosted a lavish cocktail and continues recruiting at the @NAHJ conference in Hollywood https://t.co/xy3ia4Osxq #NAHJ2024#NAHJ40th
For those who can’t understand the movie Shrek in spanish…my condolences
But also if you want to LEARN some Spanish, leave your duo lingo classes and watch Shrek instead 🤣🤣
So in June, I was in a car accident, which resulted in losing my car of 11 years. All of June, I was on a rental, Uber and the metro. Currently on the metro as we speak but you wouldn’t be able to tell bc I’m moving around and still working as if I still had my car.
No excuses.
HECHO ESTÁ: I have graduated from Harvard University’s Extension School Program on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Leadership. What was a kid’s dream today is now a reality. 🏅
Gracias a Dios, mi familia y todos quienes fueron parte del proceso!!
