@afneil I recall a presentation by a very eminent professor who said you could literally cover the whole of the uk in wind farms and it would not provide anywhere near
10% of peak demand. What does this do to the environment?

@elonmusk In Scotland we have a wealth of natural energy sources yet pay highest prices across the UK. North of the central belt there is no gas network so they pay a higher costs despite natural resources. Yet the landscape is ruined, covered in wind farms!

a) What about the mental health of children who have to go through the stress of moving schools or does their mental health not matter because they go to “private school”?

b) Have Labour asked parents of LA schools if they mind the additional pupil intake?

@CamillaTominey Well done for continuing to challenge Labour on VAT on schools policy. Many parents, who work really hard make massive sacrifices are incredibly worried about this. A tax break to parents may encourage others to put their kids to private school and reduce pressure on LA schools.

@kelvmackenzie Yet tax is already paid by parents for a public space that is not used. If it must happen it should be applied via threshold to the highest fee paying UK schools. The rate mentioned is paid by families who sacrifice a lot to put their kids private for all sorts of reasons.
