I’m sick to the back teeth of the sheer colossal cluster fuck that is the inconsistencies of the EIHL reffing and DOPs. We’ve all seen the two tiered reffing and rule implementation of this old boys club run shitshow for the smaller clubs against the big boys.
We’ve seen the utter incompetence of DOPs at times. And today I’m in full rage mode because we’ve lost our best power forward for the Playoffs because of a blatant and vicious head hit that has given O Cooper a concussion. No call on the play, and shockingly no review by DOPs before tonight’s second leg.

Back in November Gendron got a two game ban for a frustrated cross check to the chest of a Flames player. No injury on the play. Fair enough, it was borne of frustration but silly no less. But not a huge deal.

But then we see the tumble weed and fucking silence when it comes to plays which can destroy a players career AND life.

EIHL - Number one priority over the summer. Invest in officiating training and invest in people who have a bloody clue to run DOPS and the ability to make reviews any day of the week!
