If we want to improve attendance outcomes for children in a post-pandemic world, we MUST do something different to the approach we had before! If not, nothing will change. Support MUST be prioritised before improvements can be made. πβ€οΈ
Attendance practice should be guided by a child-centered ethos, empowering individuals and committed to social justice - championing equality and inclusivity.
It's been a great 2 years working @FVWLric. I've met so many inspirational practitioners and have been so lucky to work with a fantastic team, who are passionate about achieving better outcomes for learners. Looking forward to building on my experiences next session π

What an amazing achievement for the brave practitioners and HT at these 2 schools! So happy to see this being recognised as innovative practice, hopefully it inspires others to follow suit! π«Ά
