Rev in @churchofengland- should explain niche churchy tweets. I should probably say views are my own... (just incase). Basically love people and pints 🤷🏼♀️
Faith leaders came together at @BristolCathedra this afternoon to send the message that hate will not be tolerated in the city after violent anti-immigration protests.

We have been granted funding for two new full-time tutors at @trinity_bristol, for someone of GMH to work with potential theological educators, and for someone to spearheading new provision to meet the needs of currently underrepresented groups.

Horrific scenes yesterday. And yet this morning we lamented, prayed and acted in defiance of the darkness of yesterday. Our community hub was opened and the people of Redcliffe cleared up the streets. The light shines in the darkness & the darkness cannot overcome it.
We are on the look out for a number of key people to come and work with us at the moment. These are key posts for our future development so would value help spreading the word!
A powerful & brave documentary from Matt and Beth Redman, once again articulating many of our stories regarding Soul Survivor.
We continue to pray, ‘let there be light’
Today sees the release of ‘Let There Be Light’ - a documentary exploring the pattern of harmful behaviours experienced under the leadership of Mike Pilavachi, a prominent figure in the UK Church. Our hope is for this film to be something of a care-package for the hurting, at the same time asking how we might become a healthier Church in the future. We know it won’t serve everyone, but we pray it will help some.
We tell our story to shine light and help validate other’s experiences. It would have been much easier to say nothing - but a culture of silence up until now has been a significant force. Other voices speaking into this documentary are Dr Diane Langberg (recognised for her 50 years of clinical work with trauma victims), Dr Chi-Chi Obuaya (a respected London Harley Street consultant psychiatrist) and Dr Amy Orr-Ewing (a regarded UK theologian with a passion to advocate for survivors of abuse.) The film also points to some key organisations who provide support in this area and also safeguarding resources for churches.
While speaking on a painful subject it’s also important to acknowledge all of the pastors out there faithfully loving those that God has entrusted to them.
This is a story Beth and I chose to tell. Our prayer is for the healing of yesterday’s wounds and a brighter, safer Church tomorrow.
Let there be Light.

Could not be prouder and happier to serve with this bunch of incredible people! No others I’d rather do the Christmas marathon with…A big Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️ @DanTyndall @mu203jc
Today we released this original image by @KLICONS — created this week. It's inspired by our friends in Bethlehem who placed Christ under the rubble this Christmas in honor of the lives lost in Gaza. When asked where God is as Gaza is being bombed, @MuntherIsaac said: "God is under the rubble." We are now raising funds that will go to support families in Gaza -- for each gift of $100 or more we will send you a signed copy of this limited edition print of “Christ in the Rubble,” signed by Kelly Latimore. Here's the link to give at @RedLetterXians:
