Please, everyone who is interested in helping the people of Gaza, share this song. It was written by friends of mine and they mean to release it to raise funds for the innocent civilians who are being slaughtered on a daily basis.

(3/3) Implementation science closes the gap between what we know and what we do by identifying and addressing barriers that slow or halt the uptake of evidence-based practices and identifying and leveraging enablers. #implementationscience
(1/3) I am very excited to announce that I am taking up the role of Director of a new research centre in @UL – the Centre for Implementation Research at University of Limerick (CIRcUL). The Centre will formal launch later in 2024. #Limerick
(2/3) The multi-disciplinary Centre is the first of its kind in Ireland, serving policy makers, community intervention programme designers and professionals involved in the delivery of more effective public services. #policy
Removing my posters today I came to 2 on the Shannon bridge that have been pushed up by others postering and are now too high for safe removal. Please nobody attempt removal. I'd much rather pay a fine than someone have an accident. I will get professional help to retrieve them.
@comradebritney No need to delete the tweet. Open discussion is important.
State boards do pay but if a member is already being paid by the state for the job, as I am, they can't take a second payment as it would be double dipping.
@comradebritney I'm just of the opinion that being a voice at the table is more effective than shouting from the wings.
Also, it isn't soliciting work. I'm a public sector employee so any publicly funded boards I sit on, I do so on a voluntary and unrenumerated basis.
@Aron_LMK1@comradebritney That is a poor representation of an answer I gave once during the campaign. I actually said that there was no straightforward answer. The system is currently dependent on both public and private hospitals. I am in favour of full free health and social care.
@Annacreegan @Aily_NC It is a pity, I feel it impacted our votes. It is an archaic law that stopped us. We were registered as a party but because the polling dates were called early and we hadn't finished the 21 day waiting period at that point we couldn't use our logo. Seems illogical 🤷♀️
@Aily_NC Thanks Ailis, considering I, decided at the last minute to also run for council, never announced, did no canvassing for it, printed no leaflets about it and our party name wasn't allowed on the ballot despite being a registered party...that ain't a bad showing!!!
"I was a single, disabled, homeless mother, and I didn't qualify for any support. I was trying to do everything myself, and it changed how I saw the world. That's why I want to run."

People keep telling me that what I've said about universal design has changed their perceptions of disability.
Specifically, the design of services and spaces across the county that benefit EVERYONE.
This video is my short explanation of "universal design".

Great day canvassing today! So much fun. Thanks to all the amazing people that volunteered. I'm really humbled by the support and the reception of my messaging on the doors.
There is a different way to do politics, one that is powered by the people. #Keyes1#LimerickDEM#MS
The new role of mayor is not about cutting ribbons.
It's about leading Limerick: managing council services, developing & delivering a vision for our shared future.
Be wary of underqualified candidates or those beholden to banks & landlords.
This job needs experience & skills.
