It’s not odd that Suzy let the kids stay over at Josh and Rachel‘s. They had no idea about him at that time. Joni was very pushy and this is part of a very controlling family. After they were ordered by Marcus to forget about Josh being the alleged predator because he had been“exonerated“, they did their very best to try to let go of their concerns that somethings wrong with Josh Brown. I don’t think that picture would make any difference so it’s really not relevant. This is all very typical of a controlling matriarch in a family that values the ministry more than the family.
