You are facing problems that no person on earth understands. You’re hurting & you’re tired.
But you are a tough person. It will be difficult. You’re not naive. It will be a fight, but you will win. You will overcome.
Say a prayer, take a deep breathe, & get back into the fight.
On this beautiful Easter day, I extend greetings to each of you and express personal gratitude for the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. He is the living Christ—our Savior and Redeemer. Thanks to Him, no condition is hopeless. Brighter days are ahead, both here and hereafter.
Your life is much harder than anyone around you realizes. They don’t know all you’ve been through & the battles you are fighting. Somewhere deep inside your soul is the strength to keep going, to keep hoping. That power will shape you into all God intended for you to become.

One of the most inspiring sights is the regrowth of a forest after a fire. I think it is designed to show us that beauty can rise out of ashes, that our biggest mistakes & tragedies can make our lives more beautiful. It teaches us to have hope in what tomorrow might bring.
Your mistakes don’t define you. Your worst moments & low points are not your true character. Weaknesses are a important part of being human.
Please don’t focus on all you’ve done wrong. Be patient with yourself. Keep trying. You are a work in progress & the best is yet to come.
Being offended by or not trusting a bishop can feel spiritually debilitating. Please don’t quit church because of it. The vast majority of bishops have good intentions & are trying their best. Each has unique gifts & weaknesses. Please don’t allow anger to harden your heart.
It’s unfair to judge your past mistakes by the knowledge & understanding you have today. Remember you didn’t know then what you know now.
Be as gentle and kind with your past self as you would be with anyone who is learning, growing, and trying their best.
For survivors of abuse, their search for peace can seem like a long hallway of painful reminders that they are forced to walk through on a daily basis.

We are witnesses to the process of restoration. If you think the Church is fully restored, you’re just seeing the beginning. There’s much more to come. Wait until next year, and then the next year. Eat your vitamins, get your rest. It’s going to be exciting!
