With this being the end of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC it only makes sense to post this. If you were a 90s kid like me, this is what you saw every Saturday night. The music, the intros, were as iconic as the games themselves. A very sad day.
Dude, the Toronto Blue Jays really outdid themselves with this Opening Day ceremony.
The infield projections showcasing 50 years of baseball history was incredible, & the song choice was perfect - pure emotion. Bravo, @BlueJays!👏

“God knows who I am.
God knows where I am.
God knows what He intends to do with my life.
I can trust Him.”
—My childhood pastor, at age 89, as he faced severe physical and mental issues
Reminding myself of this today, two months after my precious husband went to Heaven.
Corrie ten Boom on how she made it through the suffering she experienced in a German concentration camp:
"There are circumstances that you cannot do anything, and it was only the Lord who has carried me through. And it is good that I have experienced that, for I had always believed, now I know from experience that Jesus' light is stronger than the deepest darkness. And a child of God cannot go so deep, always deeper are the everlasting arms that carry you."
Any vegetarians in the crowd for Carney’s speech tonight must have been really happy.
All that was served up was a giant word salad.
Anyone who voted for Carney expecting big things must be severely disappointed.
Tucker Carlson Full Speech:
He suggests the death of Charlie Kirk being akin to when a young Jesus Christ showed up in Jerusalem and started talking about those in power..
Who killed Jesus Christ??
Tucker knows…
“Any attempt to extinguish the light causes it to burn brighter, every single time.”
He ends by saying with whatever comes next, and “CLEARLY, SOMETHING IS COMING NEXT, remember this moment..”

"I see it clearly now. Charlie Kirk was a prophet. Not the fortune-telling, predicting-the-future kind. But the biblical kind who preaches truth and calls on the world to repent and be saved."
~@AndrewKolvet at Charlie's memorial
How did Tucker Carlson meet Charlie Kirk? It was weed that brought them together..
- He when Charlie as a teen via a connected to/funded by a friend named Foster Friess
- He thought Charlie was a predator at first based on his videos
- They did an event together which turned into a Q&A debate.
- Marijuana was discussed, and he watched Charlie’s views on the subject change before his eyes, which then sparked a friendship
Tucker says only the belief in Jesus Charlie had would allow for him to see where he was wrong.
