"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it." Goethe
This last year I've begun to work towards my dream of writing. So delighted to have my first ever published piece included in #Sohormonal @MonstrousRgmt https://t.co/5CSwZus6yb
There is only one way to go, and that's up. I know that it is possible for life to look, sometimes, as if it's going downhill, as if everything is falling apart. But consider this: When life is 'falling apart' things could actually be falling together...maybe for the first time.
We have a depressed collective because we’re not told how important it is to paint, write, and make things. Without creativity humans go into survival mode.
Absolutely delighted to be one of the winners of @scottishbktrust 50 word fiction competition for April.
So excited for my @literarygifts mug arriving 😀 and then moodily drinking from it while tapping away at my laptop #amwriting#writingcommunity

When someone is brave enough to tell you how much they are hurting, it is rare they’re looking for advice. Validation? Yes. Comfort? Yes. Safety? Yes. Advice? No. Or at best, rarely.
Delighted to have my writing featured in
#rainbowpunch a collection of writing and illustrations by women reflecting on #lockdown published by

How to celebration international women’s day:
1. Say “no” guilt free.
2. Disappoint someone and be ok with it
3. Nap
4. Don’t apologize or over-explain why you feel the way you do
5. Tell a woman in your life how much you admire her.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay2024 to every woman. You are strong and amazing and can do great things. Take up space! Speak up for what you believe! Lift up other women on your way.
For #WorldBookDay2024 I've decided to be brave and share my delight in being published in Rainbow Punch, an amazing collection of writing about lockdown. @LDBabyBabble
I've also recently been working on a blog and this post ties both together... https://t.co/ldxJjF8X0W

@writers_hq Currently reading A Sliver of Darkness by @cjtudor and the ones I've read so far are fantastic. They keep popping back into my head when I'm just doing life.
Okay piples. In anticipation of the Write A Short Story Festival (which starts TOMORROW!) tell us your fave short story and writer. Or top five faves. Ok look we won't make you pick. Just tell us the one you're thinking about a lot right now...
If as a child, you were treated like your needs were too much, that’s most likely why you’re so tired now. You’re still trying not to have needs in the hopes that people finally give back to you. You were meant to be met with care-then and now. Your needs were not the problem.
