It's hilariously macabre but it's a very funny insight to his character. Wiley doesn't care about the lawsuit. He cares about eating the Roadrunner.

Before we say this is obviously wrong, imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and there was only one holdout for NGRI, and everyone wanted to find this person and drag them in the media and shame them for being the worst.

The better option would be to plead NGRI on a lesser charge, or even guilty on a much, much lesser charge.

I think if I was sitting there, though, the frequency with which all witnesses took it for granted would make me pretty comfortable assuming she did.

They also left it up in the air to what extent Coyote knew Bugs. It seems Coyote could figure it out - he had a pretty "this better not be who I think it is" look on his face when he turned on the lights.

@Dasher2Karen @CourtDawgDaniel But this is literally the situation he's in. Forgiveness in this situation does not look like forgiving a small misunderstanding. "Not wanting them dead" and "remembering their good traits" is probably the only aspect of the relationship that can be restored.
