@GingerGorman I was in a meeting once where a female colleague made a suggestion that was ignored. Less than 5 minutes later a male (who heard her) made the same suggestion as it if were his own, and the other males thought it was brilliant. I said "hey, thanks for sharing Jen's idea"

@blackgirlinmain I remember the occasional "school cancelled bomb threat" in the REALLY early 70s - but the consensus was that it was a student who didn't want school on a lovely spring day. Never did we worry about shootings back then.
