On Friday I hosted people from education, third sector, & local government to discuss their experience of children living in poverty in #Exeter.

Child poverty is at 28% in Exeter, & there are 500k more children in poverty in the UK since 2010. We’ve got a lot of work to do. 1/3

Much excitement in our school room @RoyalDevonNHS today as we received an amazing special delivery from the brilliant @ReadforGoodUK working with @MacmillanKidsUK - the staff at Macmillan hand wrapped every copy of the 20th anniversary edition of The Gruffalo's Child. Thank you!

One of our Year 10 students made bread rolls from scratch today on a very chilly morning at our Outreach Centre - our fears that it was too cold for them to prove turned out to be unfounded!
