@TheStroBro@Scotlandteam @GaryGoldrugbyiq @RugbyEvangelist @lizardrugby@philterrigno@scott_stevie Scrums were one of the reasons rugby league broke away and changed its rules. The leaguies wanted commercial viability and they considered scrums and line outs boring.
@The1014Rugby Happy new year to Gareth and Steve. You guys had some 2018 but I still expect your 2019 to top that. I wish you prosperity and good health and, most importantly, happiness for the New Year.
Passion, integrity, respect.
@thedeadballarea@RugbyInsideLine Quite right. In fact, the law *requires* that the player penalized in a penalty try receive a yellow card. If there is no named offender, e.g. a collapsed maul, no card needed. But a scrum collapse usually has an official culprit and he shd have seen yellow.
@Jbeardmore Move to the US of A. A rugby subscription to @NBCSportsGold allows you to watch *all* the Prem games live and/or on demand. And you’d do well here. Betcha’d make a lot more than in Brexitland.

@TheStroBro Good work Aaron! I checked out the program page online and the MSLB looks like a really well thought out and valuable credential. More to the point: podcasts on US rugby will now have additional sports law nuggets. Hurrah!
Dear #AcademicTwitter, What is the rule for when you are making a point in a new publication that you've already made in print? A three-sentence paragraph, say. Can you copy and paste with a citation? Or do you have to rewrite it?

@messyjez @guerillacricket@WACA_Cricket@melindafarrell @plalor What is it with Usman Khawaja and the Aussie commentators? They seem in awe of his talents, which have always looked modest to me.

@bloodandmud @MikeBubbins @joshgardner Stoked that you picked up Danny Barrett’s monstrous try. One very important point about it is that he’s not bumping off twelve-year-olds but All Blacks. Changes the calculus a little... #BeastMode#USAeagles
