Nobody warns you that tiny ice skates on a dachshund and a pug can turn a rink into this full costume drama 😂. Watching the purple dress dog glide like a pro while the pug just belly-flops across the ice trying to keep up is the funniest thing you'll see all day.
A legacy that will last forever 💐
The 2024 No.1 pick, 2024 WNBA ROTY, 2024 WNBA Assists Leader, NCAA All-Time Leading Scorer, and so much more… Caitlin Clark officially retires #22 for @iowawbb!
Jay Higgins shares that the Nebraska captains didn’t shake hands before the game and Matt Rhule walked through Iowa’s warmups pregame.
Interchange with Nick Jackson: “Would Kirk Ferentz ever do that? Never. Come to Iowa.”
I don't care if this is corny! I've been trying to understand why Caitlin leaving hits so much harder than any other Hawk who went pro. ....this is why, for me at least.
She has accomplished almost everything a person could in her sport. She owes us nothing, yet I like you, will always yearn for more of her time at Iowa.
I'm happy for Caitlin, she has held this University up and showcased herself in the right way. More ways than I could have possibly imagined she has ignited that childhood dream of making the game winning shot and being a champion.
I hope her legacy to the college game of basketball is how a girl from Iowa took a different path. How what made her great is how she built up the people around her, and made it her own.
She transcended the game of basketball because it was much more than womens or mens basketball. She brought people together that don't watch sports. She always has taken the time to realize what her stature means. Be it taking time to sign some autographs or take a few pictures, her character always shined on those around her.
Very few times in our lives do we come across an athlete that has this hunger and drive for life. Yes I said life, because it doesn't just stop with basketball, it's in every phase of their being.
That's what it takes to be great, Caitlin Clark is great.
Thank you CC#22
Angel Reese continuously taunting Caitlin at the end of that game is probably an indicator of the character side of why she wasn’t up for the NPOY awards.
Not the way we wanted this game to go but cannot let this joke of an officiating crew take away from the incredible season we had.
Every player on this team gave it their all, stepped in when they needed to, and didn’t give up til the end. Wouldn’t trade this team for the world
