Trump's win shows us who we really are: This article by professor Aaron W. Hughey is one of the most powerful and accurate post-election indictments of America you'll ever read. 😳👇
Even a billionaire in Phoenix can’t step outside their front door, walk to a Piazza full of people and life (no cars ofc) to order a glass of wine, yet everything you see here is €4 and accessible to pretty much everyone in Italy.
In voting to oust Orbán -- despite the best efforts of the Kremlin and the White House (an extraordinary pairing) -- Hungarians have removed a pro-Putin toxin in the heart of Europe. This has a reverberant effect.
White Privilege is being a former Escort that can barely speak English properly and people honor you at the White House meanwhile a successful accomplished Black Women gets disrespected 10 years removed from office.
The Mississippi cop killed a baby because the management at Walmmart claimed A BABY was shoplifting a pack of diapers (bis mother had a receipt), and now they police have unleashed tear gas on community members protesting the execution of a baby.
This is America.
@alaynatreene Translation: the MOU is a disaster. But hey, rejoice! The IRGC can now use it to claim victory and silence every opponent. That’s what counts. Keep the customer happy.
Just imagine what every bad actor in the world must be thinking now.
SERIOUS QUESTION: Why is it that actual human jobs like baker, florist, teacher, and childcare worker barely pay a livable wage, while fakė jobs like AI specialist bootlicker, marketing campaign parasite, and synergy consultant are pulling six figures ??
100 years ago, New York City arrested Eve Adams for the "crime" of being gay.
A Polish-Jewish immigrant, LGBTQ pioneer, and owner of Eve's Hangout in Greenwich Village, she was entrapped by police, convicted, deported, and ultimately murdered at Auschwitz.
I've asked the City to formally acknowledge that Eve Adams was failed by New York and that her conviction was an injustice rooted in discrimination.
We can't change history, but we can tell the truth about it.
>be Epstein's butler
>get a hold of the list
>try to sell it to the victims' lawyers
>get caught by FBI
>sent to jail for longer than Epstein
>all this happened 17 years ago
>could've cracked the case wide open then
Your country has pedophile and pedophile supporters everywhere
This is why people shouldn’t confuse anecdotes with data.
While the woke left can be obnoxious, the simple fact is a supermajority of Americans believe homosexuality is moral and same-sex marriage should be legal.
Only a majority of Republicans think the opposite.
The last time the US had Robber Barons — men who hoarded wealth while workers struggled to survive — was the Gilded Age of the late 1800s. Workers had organized into unions, and the threat of collective power was enough to force action. The rich gave back — not out of decency, but because workers demanded it. Today's Robber Barons like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos buy the narrative, platforms, newspapers, & politicians. They don't fear us — yet. We’re still fighting back because history shows us what works: organized, relentless, loud collective action. It worked in the 1880s. It's the only thing that's ever worked for working people.
Jesse Watters criticized Graham Platner for cheating on his fiancé before they were married. Jesse Watters cheated on his first wife with the woman who is now his second wife when he was the father of two young girls. Trump cheated on all three of his wives 🤷♀️
Capitalism is so good that it has only existed for 0.00000011% of the Earth's life YET in that time it has helped push the planet toward a mass extinction event.
So let me paint you a picture of the coming weeks:
-Trump will call Putin, tell media a peace deal is very close
-terms of peace deal turn out to be unacceptable for Ukraine
-everybody panics, meanwhile Trump moves military forces to the Caribbean, nobody notices.
-Zelensky rushes to European allies for crisis meeting
-Americans push through on deal, Vance will make backhand comment about Ukraine for being "non-cooperative" or "ungrateful"
-Television studios will broadcast back-to-back coverage of potential peace deal, round table discussions, live White House correspondents.
-American troop build-up in Caribbean remains unnoticed, media prefers to cover comments from the Oval Office over massive troop movements.
Until at last sometime by the end of summer:
-Trump bombs Cuba, everyone surprised
-Talking heads on TV: 'nobody saw this coming'
-peace deal with Russia never mentioned again
-repeat again sometime in the fall.
