@DPD_ every year people conflate the exhibition’s “theme” and the gala’s “dress code” and that creates more confusion than the lack of specificity in the wording of either
@chaandmami me! I think it’s a good film as an entirely separate entity from the book! the main issues come from trying to compare them as the same thing and even then there are a few aspects that I think the film handles better! I dumped my thoughts extensively on my substack :)
