LA Dem Party Clerk; DSCC HD23, making sure more voices are heard in the rooms that matter so we build a better LA that works for ALL!
It’s Election Day, Louisiana! Make sure you take the 10 min to get out there & vote. I’m voting NO on all 4 constitutional amendments. I’m not in OPSB Dist 2 but, if I was, I’d vote for Gabriela Biro! And I’d vote for the millage to raise teacher pay if I was in Jefferson Parish!
@vbbernard It’s not about division, though you truly cannot rationalize with irrational people and bots. It’s about the functionality of this site, intentionally flooded with propaganda & disinformation to sway/buy an election. Plus recent TOS updates. https://t.co/cCHAar46QK
Context for this photo: At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, AG Landry invited national anti-vaccine, anti-science activists, including RFK Jr., to #lalege to spread false health info about the pandemic & vaccines.
Reminder: Talk to your doc if you have Qs about vaccines.
Louisiana House Ways and Means Committee approves HB2, which would lower corporate tax rate to 3.5% and eliminate a number of tax breaks. Vote was 15-2 with only Reps. Mandie Landry and Willard voting no #lalege#lagov
How do you know a recession is coming?
Simple.
Americans just elected a Republican president.
Look at history:
Since WWII, almost every single recession has happened after Americans elected a Republican president.
Don’t believe me? Do your own research.
Y’all love that.
@fidgetsfive Let’s just send all of our worst to the federal government at this point and then ignore what they do. I was told something about the supremacy of states’ rights?
Men who hate women are never going to be politically moved by women. Stop asking women to be nice to those men. 1. Ew 2. It won’t work. Those men will only be moved by other men, if they can be moved. So grow a f*cking spine and confront your your bro on his gross ideology.
Republicans are bad at the economy. Always. Period. It’s because they don’t actually care about running things well, having thriving communities, residents who are successful and doing well. They only care about protecting the already wealthy. And that doesn’t include you or me.
The franchise tax is one of the few taxes big corporations actually pay.
We’d lose $400 million in revenue a year, the benefits all going to out of state shareholders.
This is what happens when you vote Republican. 💸
