My favorite podcast has to be Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin. My favorite “Do” is accept other’s opinions. My favorite “Don’t” is lengthy.

I like the idea that the professor had about abandoning grades and implementing the “experience points” system. This is something that would be nice for the students because it allows them to stress less and for them to enjoy the activity. @desertjul#EDLT368M71#M5
An AHA moment that I had during this mission was learning about makerspaces. I have never heard of the term before and after doing some research and projects on it I discovered that this is something I have been using and just didn’t realize it.@desertjul#EDLT368M71#M4
#Edchat- I found a lot of pick me ups for teachers. It shows a lot of teachers from all over showing support for one another and sharing their ideas. I think that this is important because even as teachers we should always support one another. #EDLT368M71@desertjul
The resource that we used was "How Can I Use Twitter to Improve Teaching and Learning? This article talks about various ways to use twitter and social media to improve your teaching and the children’s learning. It also gives you some ideas to explore . #EDLT368M71@desertjul
@AggieEsme@desertjul I really liked this idea especially for a classroom with younger children. This allows for them to learn more about their fine motor skills and they get to enjoy a hands on activity.
@Mari32879765@desertjul I really like this idea. I think that having this inside of an early childhood classroom would be neat to see just what exactly gets put into it.
@glezolla@desertjul Jocelyn, I absolutely love this idea! This is definitely something that children at a young age would enjoy especially around the holidays.
My PLN recommendation was ~ Personal Learning Networks for Educators: 10 Tips, we should add this because it is important to know how we can use a PLN as an educator. It talks about being plugged into social media and to widen your experiences. #EDLT368M71#M3@desertjul
Some of the AHA moments that I had in this missiom was when I was doing some research in the TPACK. At first I had no idea what it was about, I didn’t even think about how we use it. #EDLT368M71#M2
First week in #EDLT368M71 was amazing. I have already learned so much through our superhero discussion. The organization is outstanding and professional. I'm looking forward to the rest of the semester. @desertjul
