@TheElizMitchell@RepChipRoy The FACE Act was enforced not weaponized. Those convicted blockaded and invaded a clinic. They were not peaceful. They were convicted for their unlawful actions not their beliefs.
@NoLieWithBTC Community Health Centers are an LBJ War on Poverty program to bring primary health care to underserved areas. I love how R’s embrace CHCs as the solution to healthcare problems without realizing their origin.
@graceann_pepe@NoLieWithBTC Did you accidentally forget to read the article? You will learn that CHCs pay provider salaries with grant money. The grant money has been stopped. Medicaid is just one source of funding for these clinics. Not all their clients are on Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance.
@JohnCornyn@RobertKennedyJr@HHSGov You know he is not qualified and is dangerous for American’s health. I’m extremely disappointed in your vote. What happened to you?
That men live very different, privileged lives was something most intelligent women already knew but the extent to which they do not care about ours is now painfully clear. And we will not forget.
Just amazing that the rapid development of a COVID vaccine was the only good thing the Trump administration did, and the response was for the entire Republican Party to turn into anti-vaxx crackpots
@docrocktex26 anyone not a c*sgendered heterosexual white male is by definition indulging in identity politics, according to c*sgendered heterosexual white males, who magically float above it all as a kind of "default being"
To recap, the Republican Party has opposed:
-Paid sick leave
-Paid family & medical leave
-Universal childcare
-Universal pre-K
-Tax increases on corporations & the rich
-The expanded Child Tax Credit
-Student debt relief
Doesn't sound like the party of the working class to me.
if you voted for trump, know that millions of women's blood will be on your hands.
you looked at your daughters, your sisters, your mothers, your nieces, your granddaughters, your grandmothers, your aunts, and your cousins and said to them: i do not care about your safety.
@Chris_Ashford @elonmusk There is no address matching requirement in Texas between your voter registration and your photo ID. You do have to state that you still live at the address on your voter registration. But your ID goes not have to match.
