Stunfisk's debut came as a surprise in Pokemon Go, at first questioned as an April Fool's joke in 2020. With very poor offensive stats however, Stunfisk doesn't have much use in the raid/gym meta, and it would appreciate more stats as a gym defender too...

•Mud Bomb has slightly inferior damage output, but can still be used frequently as a 3-bar move.
•Muddy Water offers the worst damage output and lacks STAB, but is slightly harder to dodge.

•Mud Shot isn't too far behind, considering both fast moves have poor defensive DPS...

•Thunder Shock gets STAB and generally performs the best. 
Discharge is the best charge move available, and pairs for an Electric-type role. 
•Mud Shot and Mud Bomb share identical typings to provide a Ground-type role.
•Muddy Water has no use.
