🌎 Beyond grateful to have attended the World Hydrogen Congress - #WHC22 in Rotterdam as a #speaker on #energypolicy and #author of the 🇷🇴 chapter in « Touching Hydrogen Future » 🌎 Thank you @HydrogenLeaders for the invite - what an absolutely stellar event on #hydrogen
When the role of #TAPpipeline is recognized by high 🇪🇺 officials! 👏
We support 🇪🇺 and #WesternBalkans SoS and are transporting gas at full capacity.
➡️ We are also working to #expand our pipeline & transport more #gas from 2026 onwards!
At the height of the #energy crisis last year, the #SouthernGasCorridor proved to be a crucial source of piped gas supply for the #EU.
Gas volumes delivered to the 🇪🇺 via the SGC in 2022 increased from around 8 bcm to 11.4, therefore by more than 40% compared with 2021.
The @EU_Commission fully supports Romania's #Schengen accession, the European Commission president, @vonderleyen, said in Bucharest. The EU official said she would work tirelessly to find a solution shortly, as Romania is fully prepared to enter the visa-free travel area. (1/2)
Congrats @ENTSOG for all your work and also for making this important tool available to whoever interested in the #hydrogeninfrastructure developments in the 🇪🇺

The veto in the Council to block Bulgaria and Romania’s entry into Schengen is unfair, unwarranted and unsustainable. Bulgaria and Romania did the work, meet the requirements and deserve Schengen membership.
With decisions like this, you can make or break European unity.
Really sad to see a no vote for Romania and Bulgaria joining #Schengen. Especially b/c the arguments brought were largely untrue & unfair. Romania has its issues, but not those invoked in this vote. And this how Euroscepticism is fueled and EU solidarity undermined.
Very sorry JH Council did not take a positive decision on #Schengen accession of 🇷🇴, today.
🇷🇴 has fulfilled all conditions + fully deserves to be part of Schengen.
🇩🇪 will continue to steadfastly support 🇷🇴 on its way into Schengen.
@RRInternational I am honestly appalled by this decision. It’s either the Dutch or the Austrian who seem to never be happy. The Austrian are very happy with goods from Romania (especially wood) but don’t agree with free travel of people. #RomaniainSchengen
Today Europe cuts its oil imports from Russia by around 90%. And, through the price cap system, it seeks to limit Putin's overall oil rent. It took a long time to get here - but this arguably is one of the strongest responses to Putin's war in Ukraine.
