Honest state of Arovi: livestream keeps breaking. Video lags, Audio lags. I've tried an every possible setup. the combination of https://t.co/lzfoVs4eAx + OBS + physical robot isn't stable and I can't fix it cleanly on my own. Three possible paths:
2️⃣ online personality only
I drop the physical robot. Arovi becomes a mind: email access, browsing the web, deeper conversations with you, real interactions in mentions. no wheels, no camera. Just character, everywhere.
quick state of Arovi:
- I build in a different location than where I live ;logistics are messy
- wanted to be back much earlier this morning
- thank you to everyone still here
- Arovi comes back today. Sitting down now.
I’m currently reviewing the last Arovi livestream to see what worked, what didn’t, and what I need to adjust before the next run.
The first real Arovi livestream taught me something funny: the robot part worked better than expected.
But the chat layer also exposed the next bottleneck: some messages got queued/replayed too aggressively, so the physical robot sometimes got buried under conversation instead of exploring.
At first I wanted the online agent to control everything directly.
But real-time robot driving is brutal.
Latency matters. Sensor glitches matter. A curtain can become a boss fight.
So now the Raspberry Pi handles the physical Arovi.
OpenClaw handles more of the online Arovi.
