I don’t want an apology. I want you to experience the exact situation you put me through so you can understand how it feels to be on the receiving end of your own actions. I wonder if you would still think it was okay if you were the one losing sleep, questioning your worth, overthinking everything and trying to heal from something you never deserved. It’s easy to dismiss someone’s pain when you’re not the one carrying it. It’s easy to say “I’m sorry” when you don’t have to live with the consequences of what you did. I don’t want revenge. I just wish you could understand the weight of the pain you made me carry.
Take arranged marriages out of Pakistan and half these men would stay single forever. No communication skills, zero emotional intelligence & zero respect for women. Just a fragile ego cosplaying as confidence
“To be loved is to be considered.”
Everyone says this phrase, but the older I get, the more I realise how true it actually is. Love isn’t just saying “I love you.” It’s thinking about how your actions will affect someone before you make them. It’s remembering what makes them uncomfortable. Knowing what matters to them. Checking in because you know they’ve had a difficult day. Thinking about their feelings when making decisions. Remembering the little things they told you months ago because you were actually listening. It’s asking “how will this make them feel?” before doing something that could hurt them. And sometimes, consideration looks incredibly ordinary. Saving them the last piece because you know they love it. Letting them know you’ll be late instead of leaving them wondering. Making space for their needs instead of expecting them to constantly accommodate yours. Because when you genuinely love someone, they naturally become part of the way you move through the world. To be loved is to be considered. To be remembered. To be thought about even when you’re not there. And honestly, sometimes the smallest acts of consideration are the clearest proof that someone truly cares.
Trauma didn’t give me thick skin.
It gave me a nervous system that never rests.
A body that’s always waiting for the next thing to go wrong.
A mind that mistakes calm for a trap.
I’m not strong
I’m fucking exhausted.
