We are not chasing gold.
No two distillers are ever quite the same. My husband and my father each come to the still with their own hand, their own touch, their own quiet patience. It is like a chef with a beloved recipe. The ingredients may match to the very letter, yet the soul of the thing shifts with the one who makes it.
Every batch we have ever run carries the fingerprints of the hands that ran it.
We are alchemists in the oldest and truest sense. We are not chasing gold. We are practicing this ancient art for the only purpose it was ever meant to serve. Healing.

A whole season in one little bottle — and I mean that literally.
I grow, cut, and distill every drop right here on our boutique estate farm in Paso Robles. One farm, one season — that's the whole story behind every bottle of our French Lavandin essential oil. Fifty pounds of buds we grew and carried, distilled down to about forty ounces on The Alchemist, our copper still. Days old, not months.
And here's what I hold closest: every plant I distill traces back, cutting by cutting, to true Grosso — live mother-stock cuttings given to me years ago by my dear friend Sarah Bader, author of The Lavender Lover's Handbook — a book I'm honored to be cited in, and one I carry right here on the farm. Real Grosso is only ever passed on this way — hand to hand, true by cutting, never seed. My dad rooted ours from those cuttings, and I helped start this coast's first lavender association and the festival that grew from it. A little lavender really does go a long way — a drop or two is plenty — and this is the real thing, traceable to one farmer and one field.

P.S. There are about 300 drops of calm in every little bottle — so let me share my personal recipes for just how to use them. Grab my free 300 Drops of Calm guide here: https://t.co/LiaiJfxRJP 📷1/0693/8961/5411/files/300-Drops-of-Calm.pdf?v=1781728584

Our Story
I planted my first lavender in Paso Robles in 2007 and built a small organic farm and distillery from the ground up. For twenty years I've grown, distilled, taught, and helped build the American lavender movement — founding California's first lavender growers association and creating our local lavender festival along the way.
Today the farm is smaller and more personal. Every plant I grow goes into the products I make by hand — and into passing the purple torch to the next generation of purple people.
Same heart, same land, same purity — a smaller footprint with a broader share.
