“I met her at a concert in Lisbon and we met and got along really well and everything. And two years later, I had a fado that I had written, a traditional fado… I wrote ‘Memória’. And I invited her to my album to sing because I thought: ‘She likes fado, maybe this could be something she’d like, I don’t know’. And she always, without any problem, told me: ‘Look, I don’t know, it might be possible, this time I have a lot going on, but I’d love for you to sing with me on my album’. And then they asked me for a meeting. And I thought: ‘What a polite way of saying no’.”

Doncs això és el motiu pel qual a la Façana del Naixement hi ha un Cavall Bernat. Gaudí estava enamoradíssim de Montserrat en general, de la Moreneta en particular (una de les capelles de la cripta de la SF està dedicat a ella) i especialment obsedit amb el Cavall Bernat.
