Leftist activist and social media influencer Zach Metzger, who goes by "Lavish Mack" online, is calling for anti-ICE radicals to join ICE/Border Patrol in order to gather counter-intelligence and sabotage operations from the inside. His followers also suggested joining the military to receive training they could then use to attack the government.

🚨 BREAKING: Multiple Nuestra América Convoy activists received subpoenas from the Treasury Department this morning seeking information about their trips to Cuba.

Zach Metzger, also known as Lavish Mack, said that he and others are under investigation after traveling to Cuba to “stand in solidarity” and bring humanitarian aid.

Mack plays the subpoenas up for the camera as political repression, claiming, “This is simply what happens when you stand up against the U.S. government.”

He even suggests Marco Rubio is threatening that activists “can never leave the United States.”

In reality, requesting records related to travel and transactions involving a sanctioned country is a standard and entirely lawful investigative step. These are precisely the kinds of documents movement lawyers routinely advise participants to preserve and have prepared.
